The Special Regional Committee on the Sustainable Development Goals (SRC-SDG) conducted its Regular Business Meeting today, October 29, 2025, at the DEPDev Regional Office.

The committee was reorganized and its membership was expanded to include the new set of Private Sector Representatives of the Regional Development Council. From among the PSRs, Atty. Robin James Gunnacao was selected as the official representative of the region’s non-government stakeholders in SDG-related activities at the national and local levels. During the meeting, the Cagayan Valley Sustainable Development Goals Catch-up Plan 2024 Progress Report for the four sectors namely, social, economic, governance, and environment was also validated and approved by the committee. Lastly, the call for proposals for the FY 2027 Program Convergence Budgeting for the SDGs was presented.

Members from the regional line agencies, local government units, and representatives from the private sector attended the meeting which was presided over by DEPDev ARD Leomar C. Israel. DEPDev-PFPD
